Lea Brcko
performance

The performance The Last Farewell of the Collection of Forgotten Bugs is the choreographic final project of artist Lea Brcko, created as a product of research titled Chaos as a Choreographic Procedure – Between Performance and Concert. The work was realized with performers Antun Antolović and Timon Špalj, exploring the question of how to transfer the personal experience of chaos into the performance medium by accumulating material over the course of a year and embracing an affirmative approach to every inspiration and suggestion (image, movement, video, collage, song, film, etc.). This type of work resulted in choreographic processes that distort perspective, establishing a certain bodily and musical rhythm in the performance, then deconstructing it and translating chaos into a visual and auditory medium in the form of a performance as a collage.
PThe Last Farewell of the Collection of Forgotten Bugs is the final work created for the author’s undergraduate dance studies at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, mentored by Irme Omerzo.
