ANTISEZONA – dance at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb is a new format of engaging with the current developments on the Croatian and international contemporary dance scene. ANTISEZONA was created by five renowned dance artists: Ana Kreitmeyer, Silvia Marchig, Sonja Pregrad, Iva Nerina Sibila and Zrinka Šimičić Mihanović. ANTISEZONA is a collaborative project where the content is self-organised and self-curated, emerging out of the many years spent in independent and collective artistic, organisational and activist work. ANTISEZONA is imagined as a place of mutual support, where new contextual and production formats are created, as well as a meeting place for different poetics, initiatives and people. ANTISEZONA’s programme includes premieres, returning performances, the international festival of improvisation Improspekcije, the Kiborzi plešu programme, as well as various experimental and developmental formats such as Close Encounters of the Dance Kind and Hangover Sessions.
