ABOUT
Margareta Sinković (1998) is a dance artist based in Zagreb, Croatia. She completed her BA studies in Contemporary Dance and her MA studies in Dramaturgy of Performance at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, during which she participated in an Erasmus+ student exchange at the JLU Giessen at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies.
She choreographed and performed two solo works, Echo (2023) and A Rain That Falls On No One (2025), that were supported by programs Koreospektar and Pogonator, aimed at young dance authors. Through her artistic expression, she approaches the performance environment as a place of embracing the body, and is interested in the poetic and transformative potential of the performing body, which plays with the idea of disappearance and transformation within space.
She currently works as a dance pedagogue and continually collaborates in professional productions as a dancer, dramaturge, and collaborator for a stage movement.
