Through the workshop format of the festival’s discursive-experiential events, Improspections invite visiting artists to share the methodologies of their works, artistic interests and practices. The workshops are divided into two parts, the first being practical and the second reflexive. In addition to the visiting artists, the workshops are also hosted by the dramaturge, theorist and critic Maša Radi Buh.
Jan Rozman works with notions of extended bodies, material semiotics, gaps, errors & confusions, ecology, imagination, (science) fiction and humour in search of relevant performative articulations for the post-internet / Anthropocene era.
Young artist Jan Rozman is participating in the discursive-experiential exchange programme as a Capacity Grid event, as part of the Life Long Burning 3 European project. This event is a part of the Improspections festival.
