Michael Turinsky in Conversation with Iva Nerina Sibila and Igor Zanzerović

ANTISEZONA’S second block of the year, It Makes No Difference to This Ground Whether We Fall or Rise, brings a rich and varied programme that includes Vienna-based artist Michael Turinsky with his solo work Precarious Moves.
Iva Nerina Sibila, artistic director of Divert, and Igor Zanzerović, interdisciplinary artist focusing on contemporary performance practices, will moderate a discussion with Michael Turinsky about his performance and artistic work in the programme PSR: Development of Critical Discourse in the Balkans.
Iva Nerina Sibila is an awarded dance artist, educator, publicist and organiser of cultural events, with a focus on inclusivity and communication with audiences. She earned her three-year contemporary dance education at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, UK and her Master’s degree at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek, Croatia. She is continuously active and working within dance and performance scenes, both in Croatia and internationally, since 1995. Several of her projects work towards the accessibility and visibility of dance, researching the emancipatory potential of dance education, as well as positioning dance in a broader social context. She is the artistic director of Divert.
Igor Zenzerović, born in Pula, works in the field of contemporary performance practices, focusing on performances, postdramatic theatre and other hybrid forms. After finishing his high school/gymnasium studies in Pula, he studied and finished Cultural Studies (Bachelor) at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as Comparative Literature and Cultural Anthropology (Masters) at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
