The first autumn block of ANTISEZONA 21 – SUPERNEW changes the stellar configurations of the universe, bringing three premieres: Dowl by Sonja Pregrad, Mothers in Spring / Sadder than The Saddest Piece. Ever. by Kik Melone and Vulnerable Bodies by Ana Jelušić.
Sonja Pregrad, with six other dancers, in the white cube of MSU, built by geometric shaping of the emotional charge between the bodies, brings a powerful and touching choreographic statement about dance that saves our lives. The play was created in collaboration with TALA Dance Center through the residency-research festival Platforma HR, as well as a new work by Kik Melone, Mothers in Spring / Sadder than The Saddest Piece. Ever. This work is performed in the new space of TALA Dance Center, and the performance team, which with a new “collective immersion” completes the tetralogy started in 2017, invites us to an in situ immersive, choreographic-poetic-sonorous performance.
Ana Jelušić, in collaboration with Nina Gojić, Marta Krešić and Zrinka Užbinec in Vulnerable Bodies, a performance also located within the white walls of MSU, confronts us with vulnerability as well as wounding and treats injury and softness as actively productive places.
ANTISEZONA online + live continues through the already known format of Performative Writing Lab, this time presenting the work Undone by Ivana Vojnić Vratarić. The artist uses the Google Docs tool to create works created by merging materials generated within the workshop by Nina Gojić and Martina Tomić and revising that intervention into an already existing author’s text from the play Nobodies (in the forest).
